Diagnosis for nose tumor

Nasal tumors can be diagnosed using tej following techniques.

  • Endoscopic camera which is essentially used to look into the nasal cavity by transmitting images of the inside on the screen for the doctor to check for abnormalities.
  • Biopsy, which is collecting a sample of the cells which are then sent to the labs for further testing.
  • Imaging tests to create pictures of your nasal cavity and sinuses that include a CT scan and an MRI.

Can nose tumors be cured?

The short answer is yes provided the cancer is detected early. Surgeries that help remove the tumor can be performed like open surgeries which require the doctors to make an incision close to the nose or nasal cavity thereby giving easy access to the origin of the tumor.

Treatment for nose tumors

Nose tumors can be cancerous or non cancerous.

Cancerous tumors which are fast growing or slow growing can be treated using chemotherapy and radiatiothererapy.
